Employment:

The state of Idaho must do something now to help those members of our community that live and work at the minimal margins. This issue is much talked about but little acted on. The current legislators are not truly committed to any form of minimum wage increase. Now is the time to get new legislators. Bonneville County needs legislators that will help small business provide a fair wage and benefits to all working members of our community.

Education:

We as community need to better prepare our children for their future. We need an education system that works for everyone. The idea that every child needs to go to college is flawed. Not everyone will attend college, but a strong Kindergarten thru 12th Grade program that is properly funded can greatly increase the chances of future success for our children, no matter what their plans after High school. Bonneville County has some great schools now, but we CAN DO BETTER.

Health Care:

There are too many children and families that do not have access to health care. Health care is not only a quality of life issue, it is an economic issue as well. The state can and must do more to ensure that people have access to health care when they need it. Bonneville County has great health care providers, but legislators that don´t support health care. There needs to be a change and if the legislators are preventing those in need of help, then the change needed is clear. NEW LEGISLATORS

Water rights:

The life blood of Bonneville County is water. The protection of those rights must be a priority of the elected leaders.

Tax reform:

While the rich keep getting richer the middle class is not. Honest and meaningful tax reform for the middle class must be done. The middle class finds itself falling further behind the haves and closer to the have nots. Bonneville county can lead the charge in providing relief to the middle class by electing representatives that are committed to everyone's well being.
